The Big Blue Marble Comes to YEStudio!

The second project of Fall Session at YEStudio features The Big Blue Marble in Watercolor. It denotes the good blue/green Earth as a marble along with other brightly colored spheres. Students are able to make these orbs actually look like marbles with the 'shines' and reflections intact. Awesome stuff! They did wonderful work!

Some are already finished and have been taken home. We will finish the rest up this week and move on to our next project, which is grid drawing. Each YES-Kid will choose the graphic that they want to replicate and enlarge it, using the grid. There will be a lot of variety in this project, as the YES-Kids will make their choices from many ideas.

Upcoming classes by YEStudio are:

Graphic Design Art, by Cindy McDannel of YEStudio. A 6-week course, ages 12 and up. Starts Sept. 9th at 4:15-5:15.

Three extra classes to make ornaments for YEStudio's tree at the Fantasy of Trees, 

First:  Sept. 12th, (Star Lanterns)

Second: Oct. 3rd (Mini Masters)

Third: Oct. 24th. (Mirror-Tile Shimmers)

Held on Sundays at 2:30-4:00.
