The YES-Kids just finished their acrylics on canvas! We did a version of Mark Tobey's calligraphy pieces called "Letters, Mark Tobey style". Students took their first, middle or last initial and used it in various ways to create these wonderful pieces. they used analogous colors (any consecutive colors on the wheel that are side by side). It always amazes me how many different versions they are able to create! They love using color and having artistic license to paint.
We have already started on the Watercolor Sharks project. It's a challenge! Check in again soon!
